A new year is almost upon us, and what a year 2023 has been for EVE Online! The 20th year of New Eden was filled with excitement and chaos, with pilots pulling off heists, joining pirate factions, and filling the cluster with life and death.

A fitting one for the 20th Anniversary, with two incredible expansions in Viridian and Havoc, a record breaking Fanfest, EVE Vanguard First Strike earlier this month, and whole lot more in between! I can say hand on heart that New Eden is full of life and vibrancy right now, evidenced both in higher concurrent capsuleers in space, but also in the unbelievable stories you continue to create. It’s incredibly exciting to again have boots on the ground in New Eden, and in the coming year, we will continue building on that core experience, creating an FPS experience with the community that we can all be proud of. We had and we hope you agree we've delivered on a lot of our promises to you. But we aren't done by a long shot, we will accelerate into the third decade with renewed vigor and commitment, having laid stronger foundations during 2023, we are already working on the next two expansions for EVE Online in 2024 and have a clear vision of where we are going. I believe the future is bright, and I can't wait to see how you'll shape it with us in 2024."

Get ready to find out if you’ve been naughty or nice! An End of Year message overflowing with your achievements* and activities in New Eden this year is making its way around the cluster. If you’re dying to know how many ships you destroyed, how much you mined, how often you jumped, or how much ISK you made or squandered, keep your eye on your inbox, because the Yoiul clones are hard at work hammering out your individual review. You’re sure to find something in there to delight and surprise, whether you’ve been naughty or nice. Although who are we kidding? You’ve most likely been naughty.
Here is a sneak peek of the message. We can neither confirm nor deny that CCP Swift edited his own stats, but Aura has verified all of yours!
*The message is going out to all of you who played from 1 Dec 2022-30 Nov 2023, and will include the year’s stats for your top three characters, as long as they’ve had over three hours of playtime throughout the year.
ADVENTURE OF CHRISTMAS EVE – CROWD KON7ROL
CCP’s very own band, Crowd Kon7rol, is feeling extra merry this holiday season, and has released your new favorite Christmas Carol: “Adventure of Christmas EVE”. A perfect soundtrack while playing EVE this Yoiultide season with your friends and family.
DON’T MISS OUT ON WINTER FUN
Winter Nexus is in full, snowy swing, with pilots having snowball fights, shooting fireworks, and having stormy fun. There’s plenty of wintry action left, with the event running until 4 January, so there’s ample time to jump in to take advantage of some of the daily rewards and complete seasonal challenges for some lucrative gains.
