Life Continues...
So, what've I been doing lately? Well, apart from the usual stuff, I spent last week travelling to/from and staying in Austin for the Game Conference there. This was the first time I had been to a conference, and it was an interesting time. Learned a few things I didnt expect, had my eyes opened to a few more things, and gathered a large number of ideas that I want to try and incorporate into QA. Evenings were spent getting drunk (cheap beer!!!!) on 6th Street. I would give you more details, but my memory is kinda hazy about that period for some reason...
Within QA work has now begun on testing the Kali release. We have a huge amount of content to test our way through, as well as all the normal work. Hopefully we'll have an early version of the client on Singularity soon, but I cant give you a date for it currently. We'll be updating the In Development and In Testing pages soon with more details of what you can expect in Kali.
Outside of Kali testing, we are planning on holding a massive test of Starbases in order to try and clear up all (or as many as possible) of the lingering problems with them, such as silo capacities and the like. When we start this a post will be made on the Game Development forum, we would appreciate any help people can give us doing this.
