Factional Warfare play testing June 4 to 6 on Singularity server.

Greetings again from the QA team! Since we got such good feedback and information last time, we're going to be running another series of playtests for Factional Warfare. Next week, June 4 to 6 (Wed, Thurs, Fri) from 11:00 to 14:00 EVE time (GMT) each day we're going to be convening on our test server, Singularity, again for the playtesting and we would really love to see as many folks show up as possible.

As work on the summer expansion nears completion we are putting our first release candidate up on Singularity this coming week, just like before the playtesting will be focusing on all the mechanisms involved in Factional Warfare, the main feature of the expansion. We will be applying a new mirror to Sisi just before this series of play tests begins.

This time around we want to focus on offense and defense of capture points and conquering of systems. To that end we will be splitting players into the Caldari and Gallente factions, and each faction will have an offensive and defensive team. The ultimate goal being to outwit the otehr side and capture more system than your opponent while keeping them from getting any systems.

There will be CCP developers as well as ISD on hand to answer questions and guide players. Most importantly though we are there to get your feedback. We want to know what is on your mind and what you think of Factional Warfare. What do you like about it? what could we do to improve it? Is there anything missing? etc. We really cannot stress how important your feedback is to us.

Each day the players on the winning side will be given a stock of officer modules on the test server. Also the player who submits the best bug report will be given maxed out skills on the test server.

If you want to participate in this play test you will need to do the following on the day of the play test:

• Visit this page to obtain the latest TQ- Sisi patch. Remember that you should apply this patch to a new copy of the EVE client, do NOT patch your main TQ client.
• Join the in-game channel "Faction Testing" and watch for instructions from CCP staff running the play test.
