Hello spacefriends and welcome once again to the Community Beat! Let’s see what’s caught our eye in the last couple of weeks…

When Drifters Attack!

If you’ve been paying attention to the in-game news you’ll be aware that the Drifters have begun an assault on the mysterious system of Zarzakh where the Deathless Circle resides. The Drifters have been locked out but they’re using Horizon Breach Engines to brute force the Jovian stargates in the four neighboring systems and gain entry. Capsuleers can assist in the defense of Zarzakh and earn rewards for doing so.

NPSI Public Fleets

Speaking of public fleets, this is a good time to once again plug the awesome NPSI Community Gateway. Put together by the folks at Fun Inc, the NPSI Community Gateway is a calendar which aggregates scheduled public fleets from over 20 player groups.

Public fleets allow capsuleers to join without any special membership or standings requirements and cover a broad range of activities from ISK-making 💰 PvE in Sansha Incursions to the wanton space violence 💥 of PvP roams.

Send Fleet Pics

Celebrated EVE artist Lloyd George is seeking more reference material for his amazing paintings! He's asking capsuleers to send screenshots of their ship engaged in any kind of PvE content which shows the hull clearly from an attractive angle with good balance between shadow and light.

To submit your screenshot please leave it in a reply to this Twitter post and be sure to include the name of the site it was taken in (eg. Tier 5 Abyssal Firestorm, Sansha Incursion Vanguard site, Worlds Collide level 4 mission, Core Citadel C6 wormhole site, etc). If you don’t have a Twitter account you can email your screenshots to share@eveonline.com instead and we’ll forward them on! Remember to include the PvE site name somewhere in the email.

Your screenshot might end up being depicted as a stunning watercolor, and Lloyd will send some prints of his previous work to the top chosen images as a reward.

Chaos1298's SKINR Competition Wrap Up

For the last several weeks streamer Chaos1298 has been running a SKINR competition with his community offering 7,750 PLEX in prizes! The content was judged by CCP Nikon, CCP Swift and CCP Convict along with SKIN design guru T'amber. Winners were announced earlier today on Chaos1298's Twitch with the judges. Here's a round up of the winners in each category:
