Alliance Tournament XX Feeders & Prizes
Following a tumultuous lead-up, including a shocking announcement by Interstellar Gaming Commissioner Khumat Mebroh revealing that the Guristas had taken the organization mantle over from CONCORD, bringing several changes to the rules, Alliance Tournament XX is about to take off. The Feeders tournament starts on 24 August, with 50 teams vying for 28 available spots in the October Main Event, where a total of 32 will get their shot at a spot in the pantheon of AT champions. All four weekends of ATXX will be streamed live on CCPTV.
Alliance Tournament Format & Direct Invites
Alliance Tournament XIX was filled with surprising upsets, masterful strategies, unexpected comebacks, and countless explosions. In recognition of the teams that beat the odds and outshone all others, the top four were granted direct invitations to Alliance Tournament XX:
Fraternity.
The Tuskers Co
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Truth. Honour. Light.
They will be joined by the 28 top teams from the Feeders tournament, forming the 32-team lineup for the Alliance Tournament XX Main Event. As in past years, the tournament will follow a double-elimination format across two weekends.

Prize Ships
The Guristas haven't hosted an Alliance Tournament since ATXII, where The Camel Empire claimed the Whiptail and Chameleon. That was 10 years ago. Now, the Guristas have returned with a bang and made some out-of-this-world updates to the original CONCORD prizes! Let’s take a look at the incredible rewards awaiting our fearless competitors and their supporters.
To begin with, the number of ship prizes has been upped from two to three! And if that’s not enough, for the first time in history, an AT battleship will be awarded, marking this as a truly momentous occasion.
Introducing the pinnacle of Guristas engineering: the Sidewinder, the Python, and the Cobra. These exceptional vessels, with significant tweaks based on the original CONCORD prize ships, will undoubtedly impress in the hands of skilled pilots. Guristas engineers are still refining the final designs, their engineers working with utmost secrecy to upgrade each ship with their own flavor. They did divulge that they would “flip the script” on the security status bonus the original hulls have but refused to elaborate further. Although tight lipped when pressed for further bonuses, they did share the core design behind the latest prototypes:
Sidewinder
Covert Ops Frigate, based on the Pacifier.
Cobra
Force Recon Cruiser, based on the Enforcer.
Python
Black Ops Battleship, based on the Marshal.
With 19 Alliance Tournaments already completed, you would be forgiven for forgetting what prizes have previously been awarded. Head over to the EVE Online YouTube channel to check out the start of a new series of YouTube Shorts highlighting past ship prizes starting with the Freki and Mimir from ATVII.

Prize Skins
This year, the purple & green graffiti-polished SKINs are available for 4 different CONCORD ships, down from 9 last year. The SKINs will be featured on the Pacifier, Enforcer, Monitor, and the Marshal.
Ten SKINs will be granted to a team per match victory, both in the Feeder rounds and the Main Event. Some additional shine - or graffiti, depending on how you look at it - is still being applied, so the final appearance may differ slightly!
Ships from top to bottom: Enforcer, Marshal, Pacifier, Monitor.
We're excited to kick off Alliance Tournament XX with you this weekend and witness the epic matchups, surprising upsets, and thrilling explosions!
Commemorate Your Victory!
For this Alliance Tournament, a few past community favorites are coming back!
Until Alliance Tournament XVI, the “Alliance Tournament Cup", its design an homage to the monument you see in Manarq, was engraved with the name of each year’s winning Alliance and passed to the Captain of the winning team. This year it will get a bit of polish and get updated with the missing winners and Alliances, and released alongside the regular prizes.
Medals are also back!
Each pilot on the roster of every team that makes it through the Feeders and into the Main Event will be awarded a medal depending on the final position.
Looking to do right by previous tournament finalists, the IGC will be looking through the backlog and delivering medals to competitors from years past, so once those are distributed, some may end up with more than one. You'll be able to display them boldly and proudly in your character portrait!
